How to Automatically Share All USB Devices

USB over Ethernet may work in Automatic sharing mode, which gives you an ability to automatically share all USB devices that get plugged into your computer.

There are two ways to enable this mode:

• Click the button on the Local Devices tab. The button will appear pushed when this mode is enabled.
• Select Local->Automatic Sharing Mode menu item.

IMPORTANT: Shared devices are not usable locally, so it is a good idea to deny sharing of your primary input devices like USB keyboard or USB mouse. This prevents sharing of these devices in automatic mode (see Local USB Device Properties on how to deny sharing of particular USB device).

NOTE: Devices that were plugged in when you enable this mode won't be shared until you unplug and replug them.
